8:00 am- Contemplative Service The 8:00 service uses an order of worship in which there is no music. The ambiance of the old stone church and the quiet of the service allow those who attend time to meditate on the word.
10:30 am* - Family Friendly Service This service follows an order of worship which includes music, with the choir, organist, and congregation contributing a "joyful sound". The children of the parish also participate in these services monthly by providing a song, serving on the altar, as well as being greeters and readers. (*Service time switches to 9:30 am for the Summer Season - Memorial Day through Labor Day.)
Children’s Sunday School meets during the 10:30 service September through May. Coffee hour and fellowship follows in St. Joseph’s Hall. Church school takes a summer break but children are welcome at all of the services.
The Episcopal service uses a liturgy, or standard order of worship found in the Book of Common Prayer (BCP). These liturgies are used by Episcopalians world- wide, fostering a sense of community and continuity across distance and time.
We celebrate Holy Communion at every service. Every baptized Christian is welcome and encouraged to come to the altar rail to receive the bread and/or wine of Communion or receive a blessing.
